Honda Australia Rider Training (HART) has long been considered a pre-eminent provider of rider training and licensing in Australia. Highly qualified instructors deliver state-of-the-art teaching methods to thousands of Australian riders each year. The Goldwing remains Honda’s most pristine touring model with its unique ability to make long-distance travel a truly rewarding and enjoyable experience. Launched as the GL1000 in 1975 its horizontally opposed four-cylinder engine was not only physically different, it felt very different with a silky output perfect for long days in the saddle. A six-cylinder, 1500cc overhaul in 1987 saw the Goldwing once again state its intent and purpose to benchmark the ultimate touring machine. Over 40 years of development has moulded the new-generation Goldwing, a superb touring experience for rider and passenger.

First, it’s electrically controlled, moving both up and down over an 125mm range for the Goldwing Tour models (104mm for the Goldwing) as well as changing its angle as it raises and lowers.
