Everyone loves the Honda Monkey. The original Monkey was a 1960’s hit; add a few decades of evolution, throw in a couple of bananas and you get Honda’s genuinely iconic mini-bike re-imagined for the present day. With styling that draws heavily on the original, complemented by modern, premium touches such as USD forks, twin rear shocks, LCD instruments, IMU-based ABS and full LED lighting. For 2020, the CMX is still that learner licence-friendly 500cc parallel twin-cylinder compact cruiser you know but we’ve added some impressive upgrades like a LED lighting package (headlight, taillight, turn signals and more) new instruments, a slipper/assist clutch that lightens clutch pull, new suspension and we’ve added a kitted up variant called the S Edition too. The CMX ‘S Edition’ has a set of factory-fitted accessories including a headlight cowl, all-black fork covers and gaiters, plus a diamond-stitch style seat.
